The church of San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore is completely covered in frescoes, and thus it is called the Sistine Chapel of Milan.

The complex of San Maurizio features an ample hall, with a single nave, divided into two parts, the Chamber of the Faithful (the public part) and the Chamber of the Nuns by a beautiful partition wall.

The partition wall is decorated with marvelous frescoes, painted at the start of the sixteenth century by Bernardino Luini and his sons, the Adoration of the Magi by Antonio Campi was added in 1578.

On request, the tour can be completed with a guided tour to the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, the building that marks the passage from the Gothic to the Renaissance.
